Hi everyone, Im Crosby. I have been writing and performing music since I got my first keyboard at seven. At 13 I fell in love with Sound Garden and Nirvana and decided to pick up a strat. I played in several bands through Jr. High and High School, alternative, punk, metal, ska, but I dont think I was ready to make it my career when I graduated. I still had issue with the whole "Kenny Loggins kid" thing. So I ran away to Hawaii and dug ditches for a while, then moved on to framing houses and eventually into finish carpentry. As hard as I tried I couldnt shake my deep love of creating and playing music. So, after a couple of years there, and a year at CU Boulder, I went to music school in LA. Ever since then I have been grinding the ax, trying to get my music out there. I have put together a killer band, and my real hope is that this show will get me enough exposure to afford a tour with them. The past couple of years I have been touring as an opening act solo or duo acoustic. That is no easy feat, but I feel like it has all been preparing me for my next step...
